Trance 2 or Trance Strike Tennis Shoes

by Germán
(Argentina)

Hi Max I was reading your clay tennis shoes reviews and wanted to ask you about the difference in weight between the trance 2 and the trance strike because I couldn´t find any specific info. Thank you

Answer:

Hi Germán, Good to hear from you, and thanks for pointing that out. I completely forgot to put the specifics in for the Trance Strike! Ill get on it later.

The Trance Strike is 14.4 oz while the Trance 2 is slightly lighter at 13.6 oz. The extra weight mostly comes from the toe guard and the extra inserts in the Trance Strike! If you do a step-up serve, you naturally tend to drag the toe of the shoe on the ground and that extra reinforcement will make the shoe last quite a bit longer!

Both are great shoes, I personally find them the best two Clay court tennis shoes :)

If you have any other doubts, just let me know!
