No more tricky tennis terms! Tennis can be elusive to say the least...

I have seen many a spectator or player get frustrated, embarrassed, or even loose interest gradually.

All because they do not understand the gibberish that people are saying on the court :-)

I have categorized this gibberish into court terms Which, predictable, will prepare you for any tennis language that you may encounter on the court!

The tennis terminology , on the other hand, takes a more sophisticated approach and categorizes all the general tennis language.

John Mcenroe tennis Finally, a fun section to check out is the tennis quotes! It has the common quotes that tennis players are famous for saying, yelling, screaming, etc. The perfect example, of course, is John Mcenroe tennis player and now commentator.

His line to fame was "You cannot be serious!!". However he is not alone, there are plenty more funny tennis expressions that pop up everyday! Also share any quotes that you have heard.
