Rafael Nadal Biography - Nadal Tennis Player

rafael nadal pictures Rafael Nadal biography began in Mallorca where he was born on the 3rd of July 1986. He is called the King of Clay and logically so! He holds the record with 60 consecutive wins on clay and 5 Roland Garros titles.

So who is this guy?

Nadal started out playing tennis and football and at the age of 12 he decided to stick with tennis. His uncle Toni Nadal has taught him how to play tennis since the age of 11, having only one coach is quite an achievement for a tennis player! His coach Toni Nadal was a former Top 50 professional player.

Guided by a former famous tennis player Rafael Nadal tennis grew quickly and by the age of 16 he was top 100 in the world!

Interestingly, Rafa is actually right handed. So why is the Nadal tennis player we know today hitting with his left hand? Toni Nadal saw he was skillful with his left hand and knew it would be advantageous if Raphael Nadal could play tennis like that... So he made him switch :-)

Rafael Nadal tennis has amassed 8 grand slam titles. 5 roland Garros, 2 Wimbledon, and one Aussie Open. Maybe, one day, the Rafael Nadal bio will snatch a U.S open title as well.

What to learn from this guy?

Apart from talent, which all champions have, Raphael Nadal has rose to the top through mental toughness. Rafael Nadal tennis is the closest thing to mentally unbreakable.

In tennis a never giving up and a never say die attitude can go a very long way!
