Anna Ivanovic Tennis
Ana Ivanovic began her Ivanovic tennis career when she was 5. It was no easy upbringing for a tennis player as she spent the winters practicing her
tennis strokes
in an abandoned swimming pool.
On top of that, she had to practice at the break of dawn so as to avoid any potential NATO bombings. Nevertheless, in 2004, abandoned swimming pool practices and early morning rises seemed to pay off as Anna Ivanovic came runner-up in junior wimbledon and just one year later she won her first title in Canberra, Australia.

This triggered some serious success! And by the end of 2006 she was ranked 14th in the world after beating Martina Hingis in the final of the Canadian Masters.2007 continued to be a success and Anna Ivanovic ranking jumped to #2 in the world after beating
Venus Williams
in the quaters of the Australian Open. Eventually she lost to Maria Sharapova in the final. In 2008 Anna Ivanovic won the French Open defeating Dinara Safina in the final, and by June 8th 2008 she jumped to #1 in the world.
