Babolat '10 Aeropro Drive
Tennis Racquet Review: AeroProThis is my favorite of the babolat tennis rackets, I actually play with this racquet and I have to admit I am a fan of it! It is great for clay courts and generating heavy top spin. Ground-strokes. The spin and speed you will gain from this racquet on your ground-strokes is addicting to say the least! It is a racquet that is best suited to a base line game. Volleys. If this racquet has a weak spot, it would be that it lacks a bit of feel on the volleys. It is a stiff racquet so it's touch is not the best. Serve. For a baseline babolat tennis racket, It serves surprisingly well! Especially the slice and top spin serves. Other "AeroPro" Babolat Racquet Tennis Models - The Babolat AeroPro Team GT Is the older version of the AeroPro Drive and is slightly lighter weighing 9.6 ounces.
- The Babolat AeroPro Drive Plus GT Features a longer racquet body. It is 27.5 inches and that means even more power on your baseline strokes :-) However, longer racquets are tougher for net play.
- The AeroPro Lite GT, as you may have guessed, is the lightest of the Babolat tennis rackets. It is 9.2oz instead of 10.6oz
Babolat Tennis Rackets - Pure Drive Series

Babolat '09 Pure Drive GT
Tennis Racquet Review: Pure Drive GTIf you like your forehand or backhand and like to sit back and "drive" shots from side to side, this may well be for you. Ground-strokes. This racquet has a large sweet spot, and is suited to a base-line game. You would need to hit with spin to make sure your balls go in! However, this racquet makes that easy. It is versatile, and will suit defensive play and aggressive play as well as beginners to advanced. Volleys. The Pure Drive is not known for being a volleying racquet. That being said, it does have a large sweet spot and is lighter than the Roddick version. Providing quicker reflex volleys. If the racquet had a weak spot, it would be slight lack of control at the net. A small price to pay for a wonderful racquet! Serves. This racquet has some power behind it, and it shows in the serve! At 300g it may feel a bit light when swinging out at a serve... but if that's the case, then the Roddick racquet will be just idyllic.
Babolat Tennis Rackets - Pure Drive Roddick GT Having previously played with the Babolat tennis rackets such as the Pure Drive, American tennis player Andy Roddick fashioned some changes for his own Pure Drive Roddick GT! - Head Size: 100 sq. in.
- Length: 27 inches / 69 cm
- Unstrung Weight: 315g
- Balance: Head Light
- Width: 23-26-23
- Composition: Graphite Tungsten
- String Tension: 55-62
Babolat '09 Pure Drive Roddick GT
Tennis Racquet Review: Pure Drive Roddick GTThis is the newer version of the Babolat pure drive. It is heavier than its former babolat tennis racquets at 315g but this helps push the opponents back with "heavy" balls. It also is more forgiving and flexible which is better for intermediate players. Ground-strokes. Any tennis racket with a large head size is usually a base line racquet, this Babolat tennis racket is no exception. It handles great from the back and like the pure drive GT, will make a perfect couple with any player that likes to hit strong from the back! Serves. Andy Roddick's Racquet! that has got to serve bombs right? yes, it is a powerful serving racquet... If you have the strength to snap your wrist just as fast with the added weight then it will add some pop. Volleys. This babolat racquet tennis top seller handles better than the pure drive when volleying, thanks to its added flexibility. However, if your game style revolves around the net, then other racquets such as the Wilson tennis racquets may better suit you :-)
Babolat Tennis Rackets - Pure Storm Series

Babolat Pure Storm GT
Tennis Rackets Review: Pure Storm GTFernando Gonzalez tears up forehands with this racquet and while still powerful it offers more control than previous babolat tennis racquets. It is a light and accurate racquet. Ground-strokes. In comparison to other Babolat tennis racquets it sacrifices a bit of power for a touch more control, swing and it will go in :-) It harnesses spin well, but can also hit flat. It is a nice combination as it can do a bit of everything. Serves. I liked serving with this racket, took some getting used to but it added some considerable pop behind the serve. Volleys. It has got to be one of the best Babolat tennis racquets for volleying. It is crisp and clean and has more feel than pure drives or Aeropro.
