Hello,

My name is Max Gregor Smith, most, I was born near Manchester, in chilly north England. I have played tennis since I was 4 years old! I loved the sport from the beginning and this passion only recently provoked me to set-up this website (but more on that later!)

When i was 12 years old, I moved countries to further my tennis in an academy in sunny Barcelona. I trained hard, and played my first international junior event at 16. I passed qualification and made quarter finals.

Throughout the year, I continued to tour and play international championships winning some and making finals, semi-finals and quarter-finals in many others.

Like all tennis players, I did not like the difficult decision of what to do when finishing school. Do you continue to play full time tennis, and risk all? I was worried about what would happen if you break an arm, get injured, or just don't make it to the rare few that earn a living from tennis!

Fortunately, while playing Orange Bowl in America. A few coaches approached me about the American NCAA system, which was a real blessing! Playing tennis all the while getting a degree! It seemed perfect, as you definitely play high competition, all while getting a university degree.

I crossed the pond to live in America and play in a SEC top 40 school. Now I am graduating, and am looking to play professionally and hopefully earn a living through tennis tournament winnings.

I have long been interested in helping people improve their tennis and this website was set-up for that reason. The tips and information on this site will TRUELY be able to take your game to the next level!
